The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has detained three individuals, including a woman, for alleged involvement in drug trafficking under the guise of non-governmental organization (NGO) workers in Karachi.
The suspects were apprehended in the Landhi area, with authorities seizing over 1.5 kilograms of heroin during the operation. The arrests followed a tip-off, leading to the capture of a female drug courier upon her arrival in Karachi from Tando Adam, with 400 grams of heroin found in her possession.
Subsequent investigations resulted in the arrest of another individual, from whom 500 grams of heroin were recovered. The operation culminated in the detention of the group’s leader, who was found in possession of illegal weapons and narcotics.

The suspects allegedly confessed to distributing drugs to students at prominent universities and hostels across Karachi. The woman, in particular, was reportedly responsible for supplying drugs to students in Karachi, Hyderabad, and surrounding regions.
A search of the suspects’ vehicle revealed various press cards, press monograms, and fake number plates. The individuals have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, with ongoing efforts to apprehend their accomplices.
