LAHORE: In a remarkable medical achievement in Lahore, a team of doctors on Thursday successfully removed a key from the stomach of a 5-year-old child.
According to media reports, the incident involved a young boy from Sargodha who had accidentally swallowed the key. The parents who got alarmed by their son’s distress rushed him to General Hospital Lahore. Upon arrival, the medical staff promptly conducted a series of diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the boy’s discomfort.

The reports indicate that the hospital administration confirmed that the initial reports revealed the presence of the foreign object in baby’s stomach. Subsequently, an endoscopy was perfomed under the supervsion of a skilled medical team. Through the procedure, the doctors successfully extracted the key from the child’s stomach.
The child’s condition is reported to be stable, and is expected to make a full recovery soon.
