Deputy PM to visit Iran next week

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Ishaq Dar will visit to Iran on two-day official trip on Monday (December 2), said Pakistan Foreign Office on Friday.

In her weekly briefing here in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson said that Pakistan welcomes the recent ceasefire agreement in Lebanon. She said that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will visit Tehran on December 2 during which he will hold meetings with Iranian’s leadership.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for its war crimes and genocide of Palestinians people. She said that Pakistan demands an unconditional ceasefire in Palestine.

She said that Pakistan reiterates its unwavering support for the Palestinians, Pakistan condemns the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Palestine.

The Foreign Office Spokesperson said that human rights violations by India are continuing in IIOJK Kashmir. Pakistan will continue to provide political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq is on a visit to Moscow, while the President of Belarus visited Pakistan.

The spokesperson said that several agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed with Belarus.

Earlier,today, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan “unwavering” support for the Palestinians’ right to self-determination on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People being observed today.
