Dengue on the rise in Punjab

In Punjab, there has been a rapid increase in dengue cases, with 69 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the spokesperson of the health department, Rawalpindi recorded the highest number of cases with 55, followed by 5 cases from Lahore, and 2 each from Jhelum and Rahim Yar Khan. Additionally, one case each was reported from Faisalabad, Lodhran, Nankana, and Bahawalnagar.

So far this year, a total of 1,163 dengue cases have been reported across the province, raising concerns among the provincial government and public health authorities.
