Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon has launched an audit of all 66 private housing societies in the Islamabad district.
Moreover, this decision was made during a meeting on revenue matters attended by key officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner of Revenue Imtiaz Janjua. The audit will review the fees charged by these societies to ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations.
In addition, DC Memon urged swift resolution of all pending cases and stressed the importance of digital policies for public convenience.
He also instructed the ADCR to provide daily updates on these cases and called for action against any staff causing unnecessary delays.

Additionally, the Excise and Taxation Department, led by Assistant Excise Officer Asif Shah, conducted an operation targeting vehicles with non-sample number plates, tinted windows, unauthorised police lights, and those overdue on token tax payments.
As a result, action was taken against 66 vehicles for various violations, and 99 vehicles were fined for not having registered number plates.
Furthermore, the registration of 53 vehicles was suspended due to legal issues, and police lights were removed from three vehicles, which were then seized. Token taxes and fines were collected from 200 vehicles.
