ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad on Thursday turned down acquittal pleas filed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana II case.
The special court- established inside Adiala Jail- Judge Shahrukh Anjumand announced his decision reserved earlier and rejected the acquittal pleas.
The court had reserved its verdict last week on the bail pleas of former prime minister Imran Khan and the former first lady.
The judge announced that Imran Khan and wife will be indicted in Toshakhana-II case on Monday (November 18).
Imran Khan appeared in the court today, while Bushra Bibi was absent from the proceedings.
