RAWALPINDI: A local court on Friday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, in the £190 million reference case.

Rawalpindi accountability court judge Nasir Javed Rana issued a non-bailable arrest warrant during the hearing of the case at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi today.

Bushra Bibi failed to appear before the court while PTI founding chairman Imran Khan was produced before the court in £190 million case.

The court issued the warrant due to her continued absence from court proceedings.

Bushra Bibi’s lawyer submitted an application for exemption from today’s hearing but the court rejected her request and issued a non-bailable arrest warrant.
