WEB DESK: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif is set to make a notable appearance at the Elite Force passing out parade, donning a specially tailored black Elite Force uniform. This announcement has sparked significant anticipation and interest across the province.

Previously, CM Maryam drew attention as she attended a passing-out ceremony for women constables and traffic assistants, clad in full Punjab police regalia.

Speaking at the Police Training College Chung, she outlined her vision for achieving gender equality within law enforcement, advocating for a 50-50 ratio of men and women in the force. She instructed the Punjab inspector general to redouble efforts to recruit and train more women police officers, with the current count standing at approximately 7,000.
