MURREE: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has completed his three-day visit to Pakistan, during which several important agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed, aimed at boosting economic ties between the two nations.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif bid farewell to President Lukashenko as he departed for Belarus. The Belarusian President was accompanied by a delegation of prominent business figures and investors, who held productive meetings with Pakistani business leaders to explore new opportunities for collaboration.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also presented the Belarusian President with a photo album to commemorate his visit.
The Belarusian President’s visit included a cordial meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif in Murree. Upon arrival, President Lukashenko greeted Nawaz Sharif with a warm hug, and both leaders expressed their joy at the opportunity to meet after a long time. Their conversation highlighted the strengthening of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Belarus.
A special luncheon was hosted by Nawaz Sharif in honor of President Lukashenko, attended by key figures including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who also extended their warm welcome to the distinguished guest.
