Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail, a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is set to be sworn in as the governor of Balochistan on May 6th, with the oath-taking ceremony slated to take place at the Governor House. Chief Justice Hashim Kakar of the Balochistan High Court will administer the oath to Mandokhail.

The ceremony is expected to be attended by various dignitaries including outgoing governor Abdul Wali Kakar, the chief minister, ministers, and lawmakers.

Meanwhile, the oath-taking ceremony for Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the nominated governor of Punjab, has been rescheduled. Originally planned for Sunday, it will now take place on Tuesday, May 7th, at 6:00 pm. This postponement was due to unavoidable circumstances, as stated by PPP senior leader Hassan Murtaza.
