The Balochistan government has extended the summer holidays for schools and educational institutions across the province. Classes are now set to resume on August 15, according to a recent notification issued by the government. The decision follows directives from Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.

The Balochistan summer holidays extension aligns with a similar move by the Sindh government, which also extended the summer break until August 14 due to severe weather conditions.

Sindh’s Education Department has announced that the new academic year will start on August 15, with the extension attributed to extreme heat and expected monsoon rains, as stated by Provincial Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah.
