QUETTA: The education department of Balochistan, released an announcement regarding winter vacations in educational institutes of the province on Friday.
The notification states that winter vacations will be from December 16, 2024, up to February 28, 2025, for schools located in the cold regions of Balochistan. The alternative holiday period for the warmer areas is set for January 1-10, 2025.

Colleges in colder areas will reopen on March 1, 2025, and the warmer area institutes will resume their classes starting January 11, 2025. A previous holiday schedule for cold and warm regions of Balochistan exists with the department.
It’s just a day after the Sindh government announced public holidays for December 25 and 26, 2024.
