DUBAI: Senior anchorperson Aftab Iqbal was detained at Dubai airport on Sunday.
His daughter Ayesha Noor Iqbal while speaking to Azaad News has confirmed the development, saying that the family is ‘figuring out’, the reason for his detention.
Aftab Iqbal’s brother, Junaid Iqbal, also shared a tweet confirming his detention at Dubai airport.
In his tweet, Junaid Iqbal said “My eldest brother Aftab Iqbal was detained at Dubai airport yesterday night, and since then, he has not been seen anywhere.”
