Retired Major and controversial YouTuber Adil Raja has accused his lawyer, Mahtab Anwar Aziz, and his law firm, Central Chambers Law Solicitors, of fraud, incompetence, and unprofessionalism after losing a defamation case against former ISI commander Brigadier Rashid Naseer at the UK Royal Court of Justice.
Moreover, Raja claims he lost thousands of pounds due to poor legal advice and unauthorised court applications by his lawyers, leading to significant financial losses. He plans to report Aziz and the law firm to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) for misconduct.
In addition, Raja also stated that the court dismissed his application to pay reduced monthly instalments towards the £10,000 he owes Brigadier Naseer, ordering him to pay an additional £3,000. He has since dismissed his legal team and is now representing himself.
Raja highlighted that the opposing legal team has claimed a cost budget of £289,975.20, further compounding his financial woes.

Additionally, he alleges that his former lawyers’ incompetence caused his current predicament and has vowed to pursue action against them with the SRA.
Additionally, the case exposed the involvement of Ahmad Jawad and Mannu Vaish, co-founders of Central Chambers Law, and PTI UK activist Shayan Ali, who is now represented by Aziz.
Furthermore, the law firm’s actions, including false allegations against Pakistani military institutions, have raised serious concerns about their professional conduct. The SRA has stated that potential misconduct could lead to severe penalties, including fines and suspension.
