During Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Pakistan, he was provided a comprehensive briefing on the combat capabilities of the JF-17 Block-III fighter jets.
Following the visit and at the request of the Azerbaijani government, Pakistan deployed a contingent from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to participate in ADEX-2024 in Baku. This event showcased the aerial capabilities and static display of Pakistan’s pride, the JF-17 Thunder Block-III.

Moreover, the JF-17 aircraft conducted air-to-air refueling with the PAF Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft in a single hop to Baku, demonstrating both long-range operational capability and the extensive reach of PAF fighter jets.
Furthermore, President Aliyev toured the static display of the JF-17 Block-III and observed an impressive aerial demonstration of the JF-17 Thunder, highlighting the professional skills of PAF pilots and the agility of the fighter aircraft.
