WEB DESK: The famous Indian program Shark Tank gained popularity worldwide. Now Pakistan is also planning to launch a similar program named Shark Tank Pakistan.
According to reports, the initiative aims to elevate Pakistan’s entrepreneurial capabilities to a global level through the content studio “Greenlit,” which will be starting the program in the country.
Co-founder and CEO of Greenlit Studio, Usman Malik, in an interview with local newspapers, expressed enthusiasm about bringing Shark Tank to Pakistan in response to public demand.

He highlighted that the collaboration with Sony Pictures Television not only signifies a significant milestone for Greenlit Studios but also demonstrates our commitment to fostering innovation and business in Pakistan.
Shark Tank first started in Japan as “Tigers of Money” in 2001, followed by iterations in the UK (“Dragons’ Den” in 2005) and the US (“Shark Tank” in 2009). The program’s 50th edition was recently aired in Bangladesh in 2022.
In the Pakistani version of Shark Tank, a panel of seven local investors, also known as “Sharks,” will decide on investments for budding entrepreneurs.
