Gold prices in Pakistan recorded consecutive gains on Wednesday, reflecting an upward trend in international markets.
Moreover, in the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs2,300, reaching a new all-time high of Rs264,000.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,972, bringing it to Rs226,337, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In addition, on the previous day, gold prices had risen by Rs1,300, closing at Rs261,700.

Additionally, international gold rates also saw an increase on Wednesday. According to APGJSA, the global price stood at $2,524 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a daily rise of $23.
Silver prices, however, remained unchanged at Rs2,900 per tola.
Furthermore, last month, gold prices had reached the then-record level of Rs263,700 per tola in Pakistan.
