Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited has launched its vehicle exports to Bangladesh and Afghanistan, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey.

The announcement was made during a special inaugural ceremony attended by key figures including Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Saif Anjum, Federal Secretary for Industries and Production, Khuda Bukhsh, CEO of the Engineering Development Board (EDB), and Hiroshi Kawamura, Managing Director & CEO of Pak Suzuki.

Moreover, Hiroshi Kawamura highlighted three major achievements: the start of exports to Bangladesh and Afghanistan, the production of the 2.5 millionth vehicle in Pakistan, and the inauguration of a new Suzuki Vendor Cluster Area. This expansion aims to improve local supplier networks, reduce costs, and enhance market competitiveness.

Kawamura also addressed challenges such as import misuse and barriers to export targets under the Auto Industry Development and Export Policy (AIDEP), calling for collaborative efforts to overcome these issues.

He highlighted Pak Suzuki’s commitment to increasing localization within the automotive sector to boost the national economy.

In addition, Khuda Bukhsh praised Pak Suzuki’s role in advancing Pakistan’s automotive industry since its establishment, noting its impressive localization efforts and production capacity.

Saif Anjum highlighted Pak Suzuki’s significant contributions to the transportation sector and its role in the motorcycle segment.

Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain commended Pak Suzuki’s achievements and its alignment with the government’s export promotion priorities. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the automotive industry through favorable policies and addressing industry challenges to foster sustainable growth.

Overall, the event underscored Pak Suzuki’s continued contribution to Pakistan’s economic development and its strategic positioning in the global automotive market.
