Oxford University opens doors to Balochistan students

WEB DESK: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, announced the Benazir Scholarship at Oxford University’s annual global event.

Furthermore, documents for a mutual agreement were signed between Oxford University and the Government of Balochistan under the Benazir Scholarship Program.

Moreover, Mir Sarfraz Bugti is the first Chief Minister of Balochistan to have also delivered a speech at Oxford’s Lady Margaret Hall.

Previously, Benazir Bhutto was the only leader from the Muslim world whose portrait was displayed at Lady Margaret Hall.

In his address, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated that intelligent students from Balochistan would be granted full scholarships to study STEM subjects.

Sarfraz Bugti further added that education plays a fundamental role in democracy and social development.
