Speculation is mounting that the OnePlus 13 could be released earlier than anticipated, with a launch potentially slated for late October or early November, according to leaks from Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
The timing would strategically align the release with the unveiling of Qualcomm’s latest processors, positioning the OnePlus 13 as a key contender in the holiday shopping market.
In China, the smartphone could be introduced just before Singles’ Day on November 11, a significant shopping event known to generate substantial sales. The timing could provide OnePlus with a critical sales boost during one of the country’s largest retail events.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to be among the first devices to feature Qualcomm’s much-anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Rumors suggest the launch might closely follow Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for October 24. However, reports indicate that Xiaomi may hold exclusive rights to release the first device powered by the new chip, with its Xiaomi 14 model.

This potential October release would mark a notable shift from OnePlus’s usual launch schedule. Last year, the OnePlus 12 was unveiled in December, with market availability in January, while the OnePlus 11 made its debut in February 2022.
Leaks have hinted at the OnePlus 13’s robust specifications, including a massive 6,000 mAh battery, thanks to the company’s new Glacier Battery technology.
However, this could mean the exclusion of wireless charging. Additionally, the camera system is rumored to undergo significant enhancements, with a triple-camera setup prominently centered on the device’s rear.
