ISLAMABAD: Another audio recording of Fitna al-Khwarij’s chief, Noor Wali Mehsud, has surfaced which confirmed it again that banned outfit TTP terrorists using Afghan soil to carry out attacks against Pakistan.
In the latest audio, Noor Wali Mehsud is pressuring his associate Ghat Haji to prevent terrorists who have entered Pakistan from returning to Afghanistan. In the leaked conversation, Mehsud can be heard saying, “Inform the Mujahideen that no one is allowed to return to us.”
He continues, “Everyone should prepare themselves; everyone should be ready to sacrifice. The Mujahideen will not be allowed to change course.”
Mehsud further states, “We are trying to keep walking on the same path together.”
According to defence experts, the leaked audio serves as clear evidence that the leaders of Fitna al-Khwarij are hiding in Afghanistan, from where they issue instructions to terrorists.
Experts note that the safe havens for Fitna al-Khwarij in Afghanistan would not be possible without the direct support of the Afghan Taliban.
It has now been proven once again that Fitna al-Khwarij and the Afghan Taliban are two sides of the same coin. The TTP terrorists have been conducting cross-border attacks with the full backing of the Afghan Taliban.
“The leaked audio clearly points to more foreign militants entering Pakistan from Afghanistan in the future,” said one defence expert.
“Noor Wali, sitting in Afghanistan, is pushing low-level terrorists to die in the so-called Jihad,” the expert added.
Défence experts noted that Noor Wali’s directives show that low-level terrorists, who carry out attacks on the ground, are growing increasingly frustrated with their masters in Afghanistan.
