During the by-elections today, internet service has been partially disrupted in various areas of Lahore.
Internet service is affected in areas such as Nisbat Road, Mochi Gate, Gowalmandi, Misri Shah, Data Nagar, Davis Road, and Shah Alam Market.
Additionally, in some areas of Railway Road, Faiz Park, Valencia Town, Wapda Town, Kahna, and Ferozepur Road, internet service is partially disrupted.
In Baghbanpura, Morghi Khana Chowk, and some areas of Saddar, internet is also affected.
It should be noted that, in light of the directives of the Ministry of Interior, mobile phone services will be temporarily disrupted during the by-elections in some districts of Punjab and Balochistan. However, landline net services will remain operational.
Polling has commenced for the by-elections in various regions of the country. The voting process for 5 seats in the National Assembly and 16 seats in the Provincial Assemblies will continue until 5 p.m.
Among the constituencies in the National Assembly undergoing by-elections, there are 2 from Punjab, 2 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 1 from Sindh.
For the Provincial Assembly seats undergoing by-elections, there are 12 from the Punjab Assembly, and 2 each from the assemblies of Balochistan and Sindh.
