WEB DESK – In a historic achievement, Pakistan women’s team captain Nida Dar has become the leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals. Dar surpassed Australia’s Megan Schutt, who previously held the record with 136 wickets. Dar reached this milestone in her 141st innings by securing her 137th wicket during the second match against England in Northampton.

Despite Dar’s record-breaking performance, England defeated Pakistan in the second T20I to clinch the three-match series with a 2-0 lead. Opting to bat first, England posted a total of 144-6, thanks to contributions from Maia Bouchier (30), Alice Capsey (31), and Nat Sciver-Brunt (31). Nida Dar led Pakistan’s bowling attack with figures of 2/33 in her four overs, while Waheeda Akhtar, Diana Baig, and Fatima Sana each took a wicket.
