Another monsoon system is set to impact Sindh from August 26, according to a Met Office official. The ongoing westerly and southwesterly winds will continue to influence Karachi’s weather, maintaining the pleasant conditions with cloud cover and occasional drizzle.

Meteorologist Anjum Nazir Zaighum confirmed that the new weather system is expected to bring rainfall to Karachi on August 27 and 28. While the intensity of the rain is anticipated to be mild, with only light showers forecasted, the monsoon season remains active.

Today, the weather in most districts of Sindh is expected to be hot and humid, though areas including Jacobabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, and Karachi might experience rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in the evening or night.

In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29°C, with the maximum likely to reach 33°C. Winds are currently blowing from the southwest at 16 kilometres per hour, with humidity levels at 64 per cent. The city remained overcast on Tuesday, with a persistent sea breeze and light rain reported across various areas.

The weather forecast suggests that Karachi will continue to experience cloudy conditions, with light rain and drizzle expected during the evening and night in the coming days.
