To tackle the growing concerns of electricity consumers in Pakistan, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has decided to launch the ‘NEPRA Asaan Approach’ app.

NEPRA announced that the ‘NEPRA Asaan Approach’ app will be officially launched nationwide tomorrow. This app will allow electricity consumers to file complaints about their issues and track their progress using a unique tracking ID generated upon submission.

In a separate news, laborer in Dina Ladhar, Jhelum, Punjab, was stunned to receive an electricity bill of over Rs 1,800,000 for July.

The man, who had previously borrowed money to pay a bill of Rs 56,000, expressed his frustration, questioning how he could afford such an exorbitant amount given his daily earnings of Rs 1,000.

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has stated that they are working to get in touch with the affected individual to address the issue.
