Namibia needs 110 runs to beat Oman in T20 World Cup match

The cricket team of Namibia is facing Oman in a thrilling encounter at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, held at the iconic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

In a historic performance, Ruben Trumpelmann of Namibia etched his name into the T20I record books. The 26-year-old left-arm pacer made a sensational impact right from the start, becoming the first bowler in T20I history to claim two wickets in the first two deliveries of a match. This incredible feat left the Oman batting line-up in disarray during their Group B clash.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Oman struggled to find their footing against a disciplined Namibian bowling attack. They were eventually bowled out for 109 runs in 19.4 overs, with Trumpelmann’s early breakthroughs setting the tone for Namibia’s dominance.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has kicked off with matches being held across venues in the United States and the West Indies.
