The prices of naan and roti in Lahore are expected to rise by Rs6 due to an increase in flour prices, according to a statement from the Naan Bai Association.
The Naan Bai Association rejecting, the increase in flour prices said that while the prices of roti and naan remain the same, the cost of flour has risen from Rs1,500 to Rs1,800 per bag.
The association further stated that they are forced to purchase expensive LPG due to gas load-shedding, demanding a reduction in both flour prices and gas load-shedding.
The association said that, if their demands are not met, they will increase the price of naan and roti to Rs20.
