A suspected Mpox case identified at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital was sent to the National Institute of Health for further testing. The Ministry of Health spokesperson confirmed that the test results for this case have come back negative.

The individual in question, a 47-year-old resident of Azad Kashmir, was under scrutiny as a precautionary measure.

The Ministry of Health is actively monitoring the situation and continues to implement effective measures to protect the public from Mpox. The situation remains under close observation to ensure public safety.
