WEB DESK: In a shocking incident, a woman from Sambariyal in Sialkot district reportedly abandoned her four children in Greater Iqbal Park in Lahore, purportedly due to ongoing domestic abuse inflicted by her husband.
According to reports from Geo News, the children, aged between 8 months and 7 years, were discovered in the park and taken into protective custody by the Child Protection Bureau.
Seven-year-old Zain, one of the children found, revealed to the police that their father, Bilal, subjected their mother, Urooj, to daily abuse. Acting on Zain’s information, the police initiated a search for the parents and transferred the children to the Child Protection Bureau team.

Chairperson of the Child Protection Bureau, Sarah Ahmed, assured Geo News that the children would receive proper care and support under their supervision.
The incident has sparked concerns over the welfare of vulnerable individuals in abusive households, highlighting the urgent need for effective intervention and support systems to protect victims of domestic violence.
