WEB DESK: A video featuring Sher Afzal Marwat, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, known for consistently grabbing attention, has once again surged in popularity on social media – albeit for all the wrong reasons. This time, the video captures the leader slapping an individual during a party rally in Peshawar on Sunday.

The PTI leader has provided clarification regarding the viral video, stating that the individual depicted in the footage was his “personal guard.” The lawmaker explained that he slapped the guard because the latter was forcefully pushing away party workers.

PTI leaders, workers, and members of the assembly held a rally from Peshawar Press Club to the High Court for the release of the party’s founder and solidarity with the judges.

Addressing the protest rally, the party’s central leader, Sher Afzal Marwat, said that today they have come out for the release of the PTI founder and for the freedom of the judiciary. They will reclaim their mandate from these thieves and dacoits, and after Eid, there will be resistance and revolution.
