Meteorological Department Predicts Weather Conditions for Eid-ul-Azha

As Eid-ul-Azha approaches, the Meteorological Department has forecasted hot weather across the country. However, some relief may come shortly after the holiday with the possibility of rain showers.

Irfan Work, the Deputy Director of the Meteorological Department, stated that hot weather will prevail on Eid day.

By the end of June, two rain systems are expected to move into the country, potentially signaling an early start to the monsoon season. These rains are expected to bring cooler temperatures and some relief from the heat.

Moreover, Meteorological Department has issued a warning about very hot weather expected to prevail over most plain areas of the country today (Thursday).

Daytime temperatures are anticipated to be 2°C to 4°C above normal. Officials have advised the general public to take necessary precautions due to the heat.
