By The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts a new spell of rainfall, mainly in upper regions, commencing on Wednesday and extending until April 29. A westerly wave is expected to enter Pakistan’s western parts by April 24 night, reaching most upper regions by April 26.

Lahore is likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall from April 26 to 29, as predicted by the Met Department. The forecast also includes moderate to heavy falls in areas like Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi during the same period.
Sindh
Expect dust storms and light rain in cities like Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Larkana on April 25 and 26.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
From the evening of April 25 to April 29, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may witness rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms, with occasional heavy falls, along with snowfall in high mountain areas. Landslides are a possibility in certain areas during April 27 to 29.

Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir
Rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall in high mountains are anticipated from April 26 to 29.
Balochistan
Rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy falls, are projected in various districts from the night of April 24 to the morning of April 27. Flash floods in local nullahs/streams are a concern following moderate to heavy rainfalls from April 27 to 28.
