Relief is in sight for those battling the heat wave, as the Meteorological Department announces anticipated rain.

Lahore’s current 40°C temperature will gradually drop in the upcoming days.

Chief Meteorologist Shahid Abbas attributes this to westerly winds entering the upper regions of the country. These winds are expected to provide immediate respite from the heat.

Intermittent rainfall is forecasted across various parts of Punjab, promising a significant decrease in high temperatures. However, caution is advised for residents of southern Punjab, Balochistan, and Sindh, where a severe heatwave persists. Hydration and precautions against heat-related illnesses are recommended.
