LAHORE: Pakistani actress Meera, renowned for her candid demeanor, has humorously tasked the media with arranging her marriage, describing it as a national dream during a press conference in Lahore.
Addressing journalists, Meera expressed her affection for engaging with the press, lamenting her infrequent appearances due to a packed schedule despite receiving numerous invitations.
She disclosed her involvement in upcoming projects, notably “Umrao Jaan,” slated to commence filming on July 1st, written by acclaimed writer Pervez Kaleem. Additionally, she mentioned another venture titled “My Dear Husband,” scripted by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.

In a light-hearted appeal, the actress playfully urged journalists to fulfill her matrimonial aspirations, emphasising their role in making her dream a reality.
Meera also shared her recent recovery from a fractured arm and expressed eagerness to collaborate extensively in Lahore and Punjab, highlighting her interest in working with local talent.
