MDCAT Sindh will be held again on December 8

SINDH: The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) admissions in Sindh is scheduled to be held again on Sunday, December 8. IBA Sukkur will conduct the test and has finalized all preparations.

Strict measures have been planned to prevent cheating at the test centres. Candidates must bring their admit cards and at least one form of identification, such as a CNIC, passport, domicile, or a mark sheet with a photo.

To avoid overcrowding and inconvenience, three centres have been set up in Karachi, along with centres in Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Nawabshah, Sukkur, and Larkana.

The Sindh government has allocated 232.140 million rupees to IBA Sukkur for managing the test for 38,609 candidates, with a fee of 6,000 rupees per candidate.

The officials of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) revealed to the Senate Standing Committee on Health that the MDCAT paper in Karachi was leaked 14 hours before the test.

Pakistan Medical Dental College officials said that according to the forensic report of FIA, the paper was leaked at 8:44 pm before the exam, while the Intelligence Bureau had said that the MDCAT paper was not leaked in Sindh.
