The MDCAT is being held across 30 cities and 2 international centres, with Punjab hosting the exam in 12 cities across 26 centres. A total of 82,500 candidates are set to take part.
To ensure the fairness of the exam, mobile and internet services have been suspended around all centres within a 500-meter radius from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. In Karachi, two main centres—NED University and Dow University Ojha Campus—are hosting 12,846 candidates.
The Sindh Home Department has taken strict measures to prevent cheating, imposing Section 144 around centres and banning mobile phones and electronic devices. The exam will run from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
