LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has been admitted to the hospital after her health deteriorated on Monday.
According to party sources, she is unwell and has been shifted to Sharif Medical City Complex for treatment. She underwent a medical check-up at the hospital due to a throat infection.
The party sources said that doctors have advised her to take rest.
Sources further went on to say that she is set to depart for London tonight for medical treatment, pending the doctors’ permission.

This will be Maryam Nawaz’s first international trip since taking office as Chief Minister.
She is expected to undergo treatment for a chronic throat infection and consult with her personal physician during her week-long stay in the UK.
Media reports suggest that Maryam will be accompanied by her father, with both scheduled to return to Pakistan on November 13.
