Mariyam Nafees didn’t mince her words when discussing men who maintain multiple wives. The actress fearlessly voiced her opinions on a range of topics during an interview, including politics, social issues, and the dynamics within her industry.

Mariyam Nafees said further said, “I respect that Islam allows men to have up to four marriages, but our religion also says men can’t treat their wives equally. I think very few women can accept their husbands marrying again.”
She said that if her husband wants to marry again, she won’t object, but will instead ask for a divorce. “If someone isn’t happy in their marriage, they should end it and marry again, whether it’s the second or third time. But I want to emphasize that it’s tough for men to treat multiple wives equally, as our religion states.”

Ahmed holds a contrasting viewpoint on the matter, suggesting that marrying four women simultaneously and providing for multiple families is feasible and even sees it as a positive aspect. Mariyam, however, examined the cricketer’s marriages and pointed out that he didn’t marry three women simultaneously. Therefore, she finds it acceptable if he ended a relationship where he was unhappy and then married in a different order.
