Pakistani actress, Zara Noor Abbas has called out social media pages for posting the pictures of her nine-month-old daughter, Noor-e-Jahan Siddiqui.
She said, “If I don’t show pictures of my daughter means I would like to keep it private. Still, some people don’t have the audacity to respect this.”
“It’s a REQUEST again to all of you, please stop posting videos of our daughter. And if you already have, please delete them”, she added via Instagram.
Recently, Zara’s brother Ahmad Abbas Gill got married and after it her daughter’s pictures went viral on some social media pages.
Zara Noor Abbas and her husband, Asad Siddiqui welcomed their baby girl in March last year.
In September, Zara celebrated her daughter’s six-month birthday.
Many Pakistani celebrities prefer to keep their children away from the limelight.
Recently, actress Hiba Bukhari took to Instagram to announce the birth of her daughter, Aynur, two months after her arrival. Despite the joyful news, she has chosen not to share any pictures of her baby on social media, maintaining her family’s privacy.
However, in Pakistan, respecting an actor’s personal boundaries can often be overlooked. Even when celebrities express a desire to keep certain topics or individuals off-limits, not everyone honours their wishes.
Last year in September, actor and television host Nadia Khan revealed during an episode of her show Kya Drama Hai, that Bukhari was expecting before the actor herself could break the news. Khan said that during Radd and Jaan Nisar, Bukhari was pregnant and in some scenes the swelling on her face was visible.
Bukhari did not respond to the remarks, however, in October, she showed off her baby bump in a sparkly green outfit at the HUM Awards.
