MUMBAI: Goldy Brar, a Canadian citizen and key suspect in the murder of prominent Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, was reportedly shot dead in the United States on Tuesday.

News 18 reported that the incident occurred around 5:25 PM in California.

According to Indian media sources, unidentified assailants targeted Brar and a companion outside his residence. The attackers opened fire before fleeing the scene. Both victims were taken to hospital, but one succumbed to the injuries.

Notably, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, previously linked to Moosewala’s murder, has yet to comment on the claims.
