The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 is set to enchant from September 27th to 29th, with His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence, as the esteemed patron.
Hosted in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral, the festival will be anchored by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, while Shahid Kapoor is slated to dazzle as a performer.
This year’s event, marking the lead-up to IIFA’s Silver Jubilee in 2025, will showcase Indian cinema’s finest, including Bollywood and South Indian cinema, in a grand celebration at Yas Island. The festival will blend the glamour of IIFA Awards with the vibrancy of IIFA Utsavam, spotlighting South Indian films.
Abu Dhabi’s repeated hosting of the IIFA underscores its status as a premier global event hub, complementing its extensive calendar of concerts, comedy shows, and major sporting events like the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The IIFA Festival will begin with IIFA Utsavam on September 27th, followed by the IIFA Awards on September 28th, and conclude with the exclusive IIFA Rocks on September 29th. Shah Rukh Khan expressed excitement about the festival, noting its global resonance and his enthusiasm for a memorable celebration.
