Veteran Pakistani actress Shagufta Ejaz shared a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, Yahya Siddiqui, who passed away on September 12 after a five-year battle with cancer.
In an emotional Instagram post, Ejaz reflected on their time together and the lasting impact of his love on her and their family.”Though you are gone, your love, legacy, and memories will forever be etched in my heart and our children’s hearts. Your presence in our lives was a blessing, and I am so grateful for the time we spent together,” Ejaz wrote alongside a series of memorable photographs of her husband.
The actress continued, expressing gratitude for the love and support she received from Siddiqui. “Your love, guidance, and support made me the person I am today, and I am deeply thankful for that. Our children were the light of your life, and you were their rock and hero.”

Ejaz described her husband as a source of constant inspiration, highlighting his “selfless love, kindness, and generosity,” which she said “kept smiles on our faces.” The actress concluded her message by affirming that while Siddiqui may have left this world, his memory would live on through their children and the countless memories they shared. “You will forever live in our hearts,” she wrote.
Shagufta Ejaz and Yahya Siddiqui, both in their second marriage, shared two daughters, in addition to two children from their previous marriages.
