WEB DESK: Celebrated actor and director Shaan Shahid’s upcoming spy thriller, Red, White, and Green, will feature a star-studded cast, including his previous co-star Humaima Malick. The announcement was made by Malick in an Instagram story.
Shaan will direct the film, which delves into the world of intelligence agencies in Pakistan and the US. Alongside directing, he will also star in the movie, joined by actors Humaima Malick, Mohib Mirza, and Uzma Khan. While the release date has not yet been announced, anticipation is high for Shaan’s return to acting and the patriotic themes the film promises to explore.

Red, White, and Green marks Shaan’s comeback to the big screen and his second collaboration with both Humaima and Mohib, following their work together on Arth (2017). Arth, a remake of the 1982 film of the same name, explored themes of love, betrayal, self-discovery, and empowerment, with Shaan playing the role of Ali, who has an affair with Humaima’s character Umaima, while Mohib played Umer, who comforts Ali’s jilted wife.
The poignant tale of Arth ended on a hopeful note, emphasising self-respect and personal growth. Whether Red, White, and Green, with its blend of action and drama, can replicate the same positivity remains to be seen.
