Indian singer, Neha Kakkar has expressed her desire to work with Pakistani singer Asim Azhar while appreciating the love received from Pakistanis.

During a press interaction in Dubai, Neha was asked about performing in Pakistan, where her songs enjoy immense popularity. Sharing her thoughts, Neha expressed admiration for the love and positivity she has received from Pakistanis, saying, “Our differences don’t make sense to me. Everyone I meet from Pakistan shows me so much love and positivity.” 

She elaborated further that there should be unity between the neighbouring countries, adding, “There’s no difference between Indians and Pakistanis. We are all alike.”

When the singer was asked about working with Pakistani artistes, she hummed the lyrics of Asim Azhar’s song ‘Jo Tu Na Mila’ as she could not remember his name.

Continuing the conversation, Neha Kakkar said that she loved the song, and expressed her desire to work with this Pakistani singer, maybe someday in the future.

On the other hand, Asim Azhar also shared this clip of the Indian singer’s press conference on his Instagram story, tagged Neha and also made a heart-making emoji a part of this story.

This is not the first time that stars from both India and Pakistan have gone on record expressing mutual respect. At the IIFA Awards organised in Abu Dhabi, starlets of Bollywood Ananya Panday and Bobby Deol appreciated Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.
