WEB DESK: The lavish wedding events of Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant, have sparked a global debate, igniting opinions across social media and beyond.
Pakistani actor Mishi Khan stirred the pot with a fiery video criticizing the seemingly endless celebrations: “I want to ask Mukesh Ambani when this wedding will end. In the span of these celebrations, normal people have married and started families, but there’s no end in sight for this wedding… When will they leave for their honeymoon? Enough is enough! Mukesh sir, please stop,” she passionately exclaimed.
However, not everyone agreed with Mishi’s sentiments. Actor Saba Faisal came to the Ambanis’ defense, asserting their right to celebrate as they choose: “Let those who are enjoying their lives do so. They are spending their own money on their happiness,” she countered.
Mishi, undeterred, reaffirmed her stance and clarified her position: “Yes, I enjoy people’s joys. This is my personal thought which I am sharing, it’s not a paid promotion.”

The clash of opinions sparked a heated debate among netizens. Supporters of Mishi echoed her concerns over extravagant displays of wealth, with one commenting, “Mishi is right. This is insanity. There’s a limit to showing off wealth.” Meanwhile, defenders of Saba Faisal argued for personal freedom and tolerance, urging critics to look away if they disapprove.
As the online discourse continues, the question remains: Should individuals critique public displays of wealth, or should they respect others’ rights to celebrate extravagantly? The controversy surrounding the Ambani wedding has become a focal point for discussions on wealth, privilege, and societal values, prompting reflection and debate worldwide.
