LAHORE: Lahore authorities have sealed the Tamaseel Theater in the provincial capital for violating the Drama Act (Dramatic Performances Act 1876)
As per reports, Assistant Commissioner HR and Coordination Adnan Bashir has sealed the Tamaseel Theater in Lahore due to immoral dance performances of actresses Khushboo and Nida Chaudhry.
The staff of the Punjab Council of Arts also joined the assistant commissioner in sealing the Tamaseel Theater.
According to the local administration, the Tamaseel Theater administration was given several warning notices for not promoting obscenity through women dancers.
Similarly, Nida Chaudhry and Khushboo Khan were also issued several warning notices about their indecent dances, but they both ignored the warnings.
