The Bad Romance singer responded to a TikTok video posted by a fan account, which showcased a screenshot of a Facebook page created years ago by her former schoolmates. The page was titled, “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous,” referring to Gaga’s real name.

The video transitioned from this taunt to a recent image of Lady Gaga, highlighting her impressive list of accomplishments, including multiple awards in music and acting. In the comments, Gaga confirmed the page’s authenticity, writing, “Some people I went to college [with] made this way back when.” She continued with an empowering message: “This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down — gotta keep going.”
Gaga attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in the early 2000s before leaving to pursue a music career. She began performing small gigs across New York City, developing her stage persona during this period.
In 2009, four years after leaving university, Gaga released her debut album The Fame, which became a major success with hit singles like Just Dance and Paparazzi. The album earned her multiple award nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for Poker Face.
Alongside her music career, Gaga has ventured into acting, starring in American Horror Story in 2015. She is currently promoting her latest film, Joker: Folie à Deux, in which she portrays Harley Quinn.
