WEBDESK (Azaad English): Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for his next big film, directed by Anurag Basu. While the official title is yet to be announced, many believe it could be Aashiqui 3. The film is set to hit theaters this Diwali, making it one of the most awaited releases of the year.
Kartik also shared a video on Instagram that went viral. In the clip, he is seen with long, rugged hair and a thick beard, playing the guitar while singing Tu Meri Zindagi Hai in front of a cheering crowd.
The video also features romantic scenes with actress Sreeleela, including a bike ride and an intimate moment by a bonfire. He captioned the post, “This Diwali ,” hinting at the film’s festive release.
Fans are very excited. Some are calling it the most awaited film, while others are expecting it to be crazy.
According to the Indian Express Sreeleela replaced Triptii Dimri in the film because of Triptii’s recent bold roles. However, Anurag Basu denied these claims, saying that the female lead is not yet finalised. “We will announce the lead actress within a week,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anurag Basu also confirmed in a recent interview that Aashiqui 3 is still in the works and will begin filming in March 2025.
With Kartik Aaryan in the lead and Anurag Basu’s direction, fans are eagerly waiting for this romantic musical to hit the big screen.
