Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, who is currently enjoying success with Stree 2‘s spectacular box office performance, has opened up about the challenges and setbacks he has faced throughout his career.

In a recent interview, Rajkummar Rao recounted several occasions where he was unexpectedly removed from films despite initial progress. “There were a couple of times when everything was going well, but then I was dropped from the film for some reason. That wasn’t my failure; it was theirs for not handling it properly,” Rao said.

Despite the setbacks, Rao views them as learning opportunities rather than failures. He stressed the importance of resilience and preparation in his craft.

“Those experiences taught me to always be prepared,” Rao explained. “Looking back, I realize it might have been for the best—either the film never got made, or the character wasn’t impactful. I believe that when the universe is guiding you, everything falls into place.”

Rao will next appear alongside Triptii Dimri in the film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
