WEBDESK: Director Yasir Nawaz, during a recent appearance on Ushna Shah’s talk show After Hours, claimed that he was responsible for launching Feroze Khan’s career.
Yasir Nawaz, is known for his successful dramas like Chup Raho and hit films such as Wrong No. and Wrong No. 2, discussed how he decided to cast Feroze in the popular 2014 drama Chup Raho, alongside actress Sajal Aly. At the time, Feroze had no acting experience and was working as a VJ.
Yasir explained that someone had suggested Feroze to him, and despite his lack of experience, Yasir saw potential in the actor.
“I am the one who gave the world a star,” Yasir confidently said, stressing his role in Feroze’s rise to fame.
While Yasir’s remarks highlight his role in shaping Feroze’s career, the actor has yet to respond publicly to these statements. Fans and industry professionals are now waiting to see if Feroze will address this claim.
